In the Service Engineering & Sales work environment, you ensure that the technical solutions of our machines are reliably supported, continuously developed and successfully positioned in the market. Whether in Technical Customer Support & Field Service, Workforce Planning & Process Management or in Sales – you advise customers, coordinate processes and support projects across our MERKUR world, both in field-based and office-based roles.
With technical expertise, strong communication skills and organisational talent, you work in an environment where service orientation, collaboration and sustainable success are key, offering a wide range of development opportunities.
Do you already have experience in service engineering or sales and are ready for the next step in your career? In Service Engineering & Sales, you support customers, coordinate deployments, optimise processes and actively contribute to the further development of our machines and devices.
Even with a background outside service or sales, new opportunities open up with us. Through structured onboarding, you will grow into areas such as customer support, deployment coordination or sales processes and develop your expertise step by step.
A part-time role in Service Engineering & Sales can be easily combined with personal commitments. You support office-based operations, organisational tasks or sales activities – with predictable schedules and clear onboarding.
With an Apprenticeship Program – Industrial Management Assistant (m/f/d) or an Apprenticeship Program – Electronics Technician – Devices and Systems (m/f/d), you will enter a service- and sales-oriented environment. You will gain insights into customer processes, technical workflows and sales structures, developing your skills through hands-on tasks.
An internship in Service Engineering & Sales gives you insights into Technical Customer Support & Field Service, Workforce Planning or sales processes. You will follow workflows, support projects and develop an understanding of service- and customer-oriented processes.
A working student role in Service Engineering & Sales allows you to combine your studies with practical experience in a service or sales environment. You will support projects, assist with analyses or coordination tasks and develop a solid understanding of technical and sales processes.
In Inhouse Service Engineering, you ensure that our machines operate reliably. You oversee the technology on site on a permanent basis, check functionality, resolve faults and work closely with colleagues and guests. Your role combines hands-on technical work with IT-related tasks such as software, networks and fault analysis. Many issues are resolved during ongoing operations. At the same time, you work in a sensitive environment where regulations, tamper protection and thorough documentation are essential. Through your continuous presence, you identify optimisation potential at an early stage and help to sustainably strengthen availability, stability and customer satisfaction.
No two assignments are the same: In Field Service Engineering, you ensure that our machines operate reliably at all times. You install systems, check functionality, resolve faults and provide support through direct interaction as well as via hotline and ticketing systems. Feedback from real-world use flows directly into further development, strengthening availability, stability and customer satisfaction.
Efficient technical operations are created when planning, organisation and service work seamlessly together. In workforce planning, you coordinate technician schedules, prioritise requests and optimise resource allocation. At the same time, you analyse processes, digitalise structures and improve service workflows in terms of transparency and speed. In doing so, you strengthen the professional management of technical operations and enable flexible responses to new requirements.
In field sales, you are close to the market and our customers. You support existing clients, acquire new business partners and identify market potential at an early stage. Combining advisory expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset, you present products and solutions, conduct contract negotiations and develop tailored concepts for sustainable business relationships. Your work directly contributes to strengthening the MERKUR GROUP’s market position.
Internal Sales forms the organisational and communicative backbone of sales operations. You coordinate processes, prepare offers, support contract procedures and maintain close communication with field sales, customers and internal departments. With a strong service mindset, you ensure smooth operations and contribute to the efficient implementation of sales strategies. Structure, reliability and teamwork are key in this area.
As a Regional Manager (m/f/d), you take responsibility for multiple branches. In doing so, you make a key contribution to the sustainable development and positioning of the MERKUR GROUP in the land-based business.
