To raise general awareness, the staff at our gaming arcades, casinos, and sports betting shops openly engage with guests about gambling risks and available support services. If a guest exhibits noticeable gambling or social behavior, our trained staff will discreetly hold a personal conversation and initiate further steps if necessary. Additionally, the Central Prevention Division is available for initial consultations via phone.



Trainings


The State Treaty on Gambling, in conjunction with state-specific implementation laws, outlines various types of training measures, including those related to youth and player protection.

MERKUR CASINO GmbH ensures that the entire service staff of the gaming establishment as well as the licence holder and the social concept officer are appropriately trained and informed on the legally prescribed topics.

The training is conducted in accordance with legal requirements and involves the participation of addiction specialists and pedagogically qualified third parties.
