The MERKUR GROUP receives scientific support from an internationally recognized team of experts. The Expert Panel, established in 2011, optimizes prevention measures by incorporating the latest research findings.
The team of experts consists of external specialists and internal employees from the MERKUR GROUP Responsible Gaming department. Their task is to ensure that the measures taken by the MERKUR GROUP are always in line with the latest scientific findings and meet the requirements of day-to-day work in the best possible way.
Among other things, these efforts have led to MERKUR SPIELBANKEN Sachsen-Anhalt becoming the first casino company in Europe to be certified by the Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4) for its responsible gaming measures back in 2015. Successful re-certification was achieved in 2021. MERKUR SPIELBANKEN NRW has also successfully completed the certifications by G4 and the European Casino Association (ECA).
