You take on initial responsibilities in Building Services & Facility Operations, Construction & Real Estate Management or Technical Building Equipment & Construction Project Management, developing your expertise with increasing responsibility.
A career change into a technical environment is also possible with us. Through structured onboarding, you will find your way into areas such as facility operations, system maintenance or facility services and build your expertise step by step.
A part-time role in Facilities & Construction can be easily combined with personal commitments. You support technical tasks, building and site services or project-related activities – with predictable schedules and clear onboarding.
With an Apprenticeship Program – Electronics Technician – Energy and Building Systems (m/f/d), Apprenticeship Program – Technical Draftsman – Construction (m/f/d) or Apprenticeship Program – Real Estate Specialist (m/f/d), you will enter a technically focused environment. You will gain insights into building processes, technical systems, planning and property management, developing your skills through hands-on tasks.
An internship in Facilities & Construction gives you insights into Construction & Real Estate Management, Technical Building Equipment & Construction Project Management, Building Services & Facility Operations or Site Maintenance & Facility Services. You will follow processes, support a variety of tasks and develop a basic understanding of technical operations.
A working student role in Facilities & Construction allows you to combine your studies with practical experience in construction, building technology or project management. You will support construction or maintenance projects, assist with analyses and develop a solid understanding of buildings, systems and technical processes.
Whether it is a new location, energy optimisation or a large-scale construction project – in Construction & Real Estate Management, you shape the spaces in which the MERKUR GROUP operates and where guests enjoy their gaming experience. You manage construction and refurbishment projects, coordinate trades and take responsibility for site analyses and property management. In doing so, you ensure that buildings are modern, functional and operated efficiently in the long term.
Modern and functional locations are created when technical systems are precisely planned and professionally implemented. You support projects from concept to completion, review requirements and coordinate electrical, climate and heating systems. In close collaboration with service providers, you ensure that installations meet standards, are sustainable and cost-efficient, and align with the MERKUR GROUP’s quality requirements.
Processes run smoothly when technical systems function reliably. In Building Services & Facility Operations, you inspect systems, resolve faults and ensure the operational readiness of locations – from minor repairs to the maintenance of complex building technology. Through quick responses and structured workflows, you create an environment that enables employees and guests to enjoy a safe, well-maintained and disruption-free experience.
Quality is achieved where technical precision meets effective organisation. In workshops and materials management, you inspect, assemble and repair components that production and technical customer service rely on every day. You maintain parts, use measurement technology and manage material flows to ensure spare parts are efficiently available. In doing so, you secure the technical foundation and functionality of the MERKUR GROUP.
To ensure locations remain well-maintained, clean and welcoming, teams in caretaking, landscaping and cleaning keep daily operations running smoothly. You carry out minor repairs, maintain outdoor areas, manage paths and parking spaces, clean buildings and support events – including at special locations such as Schloss Benkhausen and its park. This creates an environment in which both guests and employees feel comfortable.
Working hours depend on the specific role and area of responsibility. Many roles follow standard working hours or clearly planned shift models. In Construction & Real Estate Management and Technical Customer Support, flexible working hours or partial home office may be possible in some cases.
In certain technical roles, on-call duty is required to ensure a quick response in case of faults.

You will be provided with all the tools and equipment you need – from tools and measuring devices to protective clothing, as well as a laptop or company mobile phone.
Depending on the role, a company vehicle may also be provided.
