Our apprentice Christmas party was once again a real highlight this year! Current and future apprentices as well as dual study students spent an evening together that was above all relaxed, fun and brought everyone closer.

The evening kicked off at 6:00 pm as everyone gradually arrived. Right from the start, there was lots of chatting, laughter and getting to know each other – the perfect opportunity to make new connections and catch up with familiar faces.

After a short welcome phase, Mr K. Ostermeier officially opened the evening with a short speech and gave everyone a warm welcome. With that, the tone was set for a truly great night.

Of course, food was a must. The buffet had something for everyone: potatoes with a variety of sauces, schnitzel, fresh salads and much more. It was the perfect way to recharge before the evening continued.

After a short break came the highlight of the night: the games. Everyone was divided into random teams, making it easy for new and current apprentices and students to get to know each other better.

The programme included:

• estimation games
• guess the song
• gift wrapping – one-handed or blindfolded
• bottle flip
• tongue twister challenges
• sack races
• speed drawing

There was definitely no shortage of fun – with just the right amount of competitive spirit as well.

And what would games be without prizes? The organising team came up with some great rewards. Particularly popular were MERKUR socks, car air fresheners, key rings, beanies and backpacks.

The rest of the evening was spent together with music, conversations and lots of laughter. These are exactly the moments that strengthen the sense of community among our apprentices.

A big thank you goes to the organising team, made up entirely of our own apprentices. With great dedication, they planned and prepared the event over the past few weeks – making this special evening possible.
