The Group Responsible Gaming division is clearly committed to the tradition of responsible gaming – ensuring that the enjoyment of gaming and gambling remains intact.
All aspects are united by one overarching goal: For us, people are always at the center of everything we do.
Our measures are designed to offer support to individuals exhibiting problematic or pathological gambling behavior. Through preventive actions, we can counteract the development and entrenchment of pathological gambling behavior.
Through our preventive measures, we aim to enable individuals to engage with gambling in an enjoyable and responsible manner.
We combine economically successful practices with effective consumer protection. Our goal is to provide an attractive yet socially responsible service, while implementing prevention and early detection measures.
We diligently implement legal requirements, continuously optimize player and youth protection measures, and have been setting new standards for the entire industry for years.
We maintain close dialogue with representatives from politics, science, and research, as well as with affected players. This enables us to continuously expand our knowledge base and improve the measures in our social responsibility programs. These insights are incorporated into our training content and social responsibility concepts, ensuring that our actions are aligned with the latest scientific findings.
The foundation for many of our measures is the State Treaty on the Re-regulation of Gambling, commonly referred to as the State Treaty on Gambling (in the German original: Glücksspielstaatsvertrag or GlüStV). It serves as the core of German gambling regulations and has been in effect in its current form since July 1, 2021.
The State Treaty on Gambling was agreed upon by all 16 German federal states and is therefore applicable throughout Germany. It sets nationwide requirements and obligations for legal gambling offerings, ensuring safe and transparent gaming.
