Our mission

At Schloss Benkhausen in Espelkamp, we bridge the gap between theory and practice. This is where we train up our employees to carry out their future tasks and analyse the latest trends from the gaming world.

The Gauselmann Institute

Established in 2017, the GAUSELMANN INSTITUTE is an independent academic institution that researches practice-relevant issues and initiates future-oriented advanced training programmes to strengthen sustainable corporate development. The Institute’s cooperation partners are the MERKUR GROUP and the FHDW, a private university of applied sciences.

The GAUSELMANN INSTITUTE’s research focus is on trend research in the field of game design, business ethics and behaviour sciences. Its research findings on the one hand flow into the MERKUR GROUP; on the other hand, they also makes important contributions to the development of the region.



Location of the institute

The GAUSELMANN INSTITUTE is based at the MERKUR GROUP’s training centre on the Schloss Benkhausen estate in Espelkamp.
